I live in Colmar, in the heart of Alsace, eastern France. It’s a region where historic towns, quiet villages, vineyards and the Vosges mountains are never far away.

This section is a personal collection of places, impressions and photographs from the region.

Old streets, colourful façades, canals and the changing light throughout the day.

I enjoy discovering familiar places from a different angle and noticing the small details that are easy to overlook when you pass by every day.

Beyond the town

Alsace is much more than its best-known landmarks. There are villages to explore, roads through the vineyards and paths leading into the Vosges.

Sometimes the best discoveries are the quietest ones.
